Each building, ride and decoration you add in Krustyland contributes points to the Krust-O-Meter. (See this post about the Krust-O-Meter here, how much regular buildings and rides affect the ratings here, how much the premium items affect the ratings here, and how to max your ratings here).
The decorations contribute to the Kitsch, Merch and Grub ratings. I’ve included the cost in Krustyland tickets, the amount of XP they generate when built, the type of rating they affect and by how much.
|Decoration||Cost (tix)||Build XP||Rating||Points|
|Wheel of Chance||500||100||Merch||10|
|Knock Over The Fuzzy Guy||500||100||Merch||10|
|Pavilion Tents 1-3||300||60||Kitsch||50|
|Cotton Candy Stand||400||80||Grub||10|
|Krustyland Garbage Bin||100||20||Kitsch||10|
|Krustyland Hotdog Stand||400||80||Grub||10|
|Krustyland Popcorn Stand||400||80||Grub||10|
|Krustyland Fried Dough Stand||400||80||Grub||10|
All the Pavilion tents have the same ratings, and similarly the trees, flowers and shrubs all have the same ratings. To get 5 stars you will need duplicates, but what amusement park doesn’t have multiple Fried Dough Stands?
The Poochie Mascot is also treated as a decoration. He costs 2500 tickets, when unlocked gives 25 XP, and wanders around your Krustyland trying to look cool. He has a voice!
There were two additions to our regular Springfield, the Shuttle stand to Krustyland and the Palm tree. Their values are:
|Decoration||Cost ($$)||Build XP||Rating||Points|
Yes, that’s right, the Shuttle is supposed to add 1390 points to the vanity rating. Hard to believe that’s true, but that’s the value in the game files. And the Palm tree contributes to vanity and not to tree-hugging. You can only place it on the narrow strip of sand along the beach.
