Level 36: Running With The Bullies Walkthrough Stripped Pts. 1-7

I’m going to try something new here for this update. Instead of waiting to get all of the text and delaying many of you I’m going to do a basic stripped down walkthrough that only entails who to leave free and what the tasks are. I will still be doing the complete walkthrough but this is just a reference post. As I said in the announcement post for this Level, Nelson needs to be free to kick off the main quest line for Dolph.

To activate Level 36 you must have completed either For the Love of Marge Pt. 1 OR Up in Smoke Pt. 11 from Level 35. Until either of those is completed you will not be prompted to begin the new Level. Once you have reached that point Nelson will get things started.

That should be enough to keep you busy for a while. I will have the remainder of the main quest line later today and I will also do a short version of the premium Jimbo walkthrough. Nathan is working on the full version of that so keep an eye out for it. For those that don’t want the full version I would like to hear some feedback on your thoughts on this stripped down walkthrough. Hope this helps!

Happy Tapping!

  1. Mike, you hit the nail on the head with this format! This is perfect for quickly determining which characters you need to keep free for each quest and planning their tasks accordingly. It’s still fun to read the full walkthroughs, but these “quick tap guides” are so much more useful and allow us to get right into the game. Keep up the great work!

I think a quick walkthrough is great, not just because it’s right to the point but also because it came out on the site quickly. So in this case I didn’t have to look up another tapped out page for a walkthrough before I started the quest.I like it here on topix 😉

  3. This shorter version is great, if there are questions they will be asked and then more information could be provided at that point. Keep up the good work!

  4. This kind of walkthrough is the most helpful to see who kicks off each task. It also helps so you can cut a few corners here and there. For instance, if you start Bart on his skateboarding task when the arcade still has 3 hours to go, he will be done about the same time Dolph and Nelson are done at the Kwik E Mart. Then you don’t have to wait 4 hours for him to skateboard and you can go right into pt. 4.

I wish you had started these quick walkthroughs at the beginning of the Halloween update cause it was impossible to keep track of all of Homer’s tasks. Not complaining, just expressing how much I like the new walkthroughs.

    1. Yeah sorry. I think it was all of the event walkthroughs that got me thinking of an easier way. Glad you like it.

  5. This is great and enough to get started if you want to get straight on to the next level tasks. I’m still focusing on goo collection as a priority to maximise the Halloween event so might leave most of this for a while.

Like the cut down version to dip into if needed.

  10. Mike, I agree with everyone. I rarely used the walkthroughs because it took the fun out of reading the speech bubbles within the game. This is so helpful. Thanks, friend!

    1. No problem. I still may do the full scripted walkthroughs but honestly this is a lot less typing : )

I love to read the Full walkthrough After I finish because I can re-read the character quotes and laugh all over again : D

  11. I like this version, short and to the point. But I also like the full Walkthroughs, especially since I play my game in german, and I like to know what was lost in translation 😉

I like this stripped down version, especially the character icons to show not only who kicks off the task but who is being sent on a task. It makes it really easy to quickly tell *all* the characters that need to be free for the quest. Keep up the good work!

  19. Thank you Mike! Great post! I think the stripped down version is very helpful as I am always wondering which characters to keep free for quests. This is especially helpful right now because I am sending my characters on long goo collecting tasks, so I’ll be sure to now time it appropriately thanks to your post! I also like how you use the icons for the characters to keep free. It is a great quick reference guide. 🙂

    1. I rush pretty much everything with donuts. Sometimes it’s worth it sometimes it not. But if it helps one of you it’s worth it.

        1. This game is my “hobby” my thing. I don’t have friends to go hang out with or other things so I’ve invested in this game. Started on a mod, then switched over and took advantage of some Gil deals and things like that. If I’m not with my family or having the occasional beer I’m investing in the game and make sure to stockpile to keep up for this site. Isn’t always easy though.
