Well I haven’t even finished installing the Valentine’s Day update on my device yet and already we have a surge of reports that things are just going wrong…..again! This post will be updated as we go along but at least if we get it out as the issues arise perhaps someone linked to or from EA/Origin will see.
As with EVERY update, unfortunately, there are always a slew of issues for players. One of the most notable ones of previous updates and now occurring again is the “rollback” of content. And I can finally say after a year of playing that I am one of the afflicted. I have been rolled back to Level 37 and my Court House and Grocery Store are gone!!
So I took the usual steps and I’m back to where I was! Here’s what I did to get back to Level 38:
1. Uninstall the game completely
2. Reboot your device and wait for it to fully boot up.
3. Reinstall the game and let it update again.
4. You may get a “Your Other Device Didn’t Save” just tap Continue and Play Now.
After the reinstall I was taken back to Level 38. I still have to do the Homer/Blimp task a second time but I have all of my items back and also the new content.
Update: Although I was taken back to Level 38 apparently I have to completely redo the entire level including the Blue-Haired Lawyer quest. SO this is not as good as I initially thought. My Level 38 items are back but it appears as though me already completing Level 38 has been erased.
Still going through everything and will update more issues as we progress through the update.
