  1. Thanks for the info, mrfy! The multiplier stuff is interesting to me. Do you know why they do it? I don’t really mind, as I’ve been at max level since it was 26, but I am just curious. Perhaps it is a cost for the perk of free donuts when the xp bar fills up?

    1. Perhaps…those of us who are top level generally have plenty of game $$ sitting around so it isn’t a problem anymore. But I remember last year when the levels were lower, it would sometimes take a while to get enough $$ to afford the most recent buildings.

  2. I liked this update, it gave us 2 characters. 1 factory, the game doesnt have a lot of those, so it was necessary.
And the animation where Cocoa Beanie got beaten up was hilarious aswell 😀

    1. Unfortunately we don’t have the power. I do believe this one was so expensive because for long term players have too much cash. More importantly, there are normally 2 buildings around $350,000 each but in this case its 1 building.

      1. But one coming with two playable characters. So it’s still kind of reasonable I think.

      2. I’m pretty sure there’s a multiplier for upper level players. I believe it works like this:

Price for building, let’s call it “p”

For whatever the max level, let’s call it “i,” the multiplier is three.

        So, 600,000 = 3xp

We find the original price is actually $200,000.

When i increases, the price of the ah fudge building will decrease in response to the reduction in the multiplier. My guess is that the multiplier for i-1 = 2, and for the rest of the levels it’s just p.

So if you want to pay less, just wait for new levels to come out.

        1. Yes. Each building has a level it is associated with (the level in which it is unlocked) and they have a base price. Level 1-33 buildings are 1 times the base price. Level 34 and 35 buildings are 1.3 times the base price. Level 36 are 1.4 times, level 37 1.6 times, level 38 2.0 times, level 39 3.0 times, and level 40 buildings are 4 times the base price. The Ah Fudge Factory’s base price is $150,000, so right now it costs $600,000. When level 41 comes out, I’d expect it to drop to 3 times the base price or $450,000. Though EA’s programmers have tinkered with the building pricing scheme a few times.

        2. Yes thats right. There’s no rush if you cant afford it. They get cheaper as the maximum level gets higher. They stop dropping after 3 levels under the top level i think. That means lv 36 buildings wont drop in price anymore. So if you need to save hold off getting it till the next lv (41) is released.

  4. I just wish we had a list of tasks for the capital city goofball instead of cocoa Beanie. The CCG has been in many more episodes and is a senator.

  5. Hey, is the fireworks, candy and puppies shop limited time or not?

  6. I like the new level but do wish they wouldn’t bring them out during an event. There’s enough gaps between events that new levels would keep us engaged and active. That said many people have lost interest in this event and I’m fed up of losing gold eggs, so less chance of getting those prizes.
