I’m back! And I just kicked things off with an information post on the upcoming episode ‘Clown in the Dumps’. Before I get back into posting valid information about the game I thought I would just do a small speculation post to get the ball rolling.
Earlier this week we got the first episode tie-in update of season 26 for the episode ‘Clown in the Dumps’. The episode tie-ins have made a return but what future episodes of Season 26 will be featured in Tapped Out? As you know we don’t get an episode tie-in for every episode of the season, however, in this post I will be exploring some of the episodes that could make it into the game as an episode tie-in!
Sit back and relax and let the speculating begin!:
Hello there old friend. Remember me? I’m back on TopiX and after a good month off being on Holiday/Work, I’m ready to get the ball rolling with returning to TopiX! September has been a silent month for myself and I would really like to apologise for not being around this month. However as I post for the final days of September I just want to notify you that you’ll be seeing a LOT, A BIG LOT of me in October, with a HUGE BUNDLE of posts!
So to kick things off I thought I would just do an episode fact file. This week we got our FIRST episode tie-in update for season 26 and with the return of The Simpsons with season 26 it also means the return of the episode fact files. If you are new to TopiX then my episode fact files are just little teaser posts about the upcoming episode.
With today’s in-game update for the Season Premiere episode tie-in there was one change:
Base level building multipliers changed again, to get rid of the extra level which was added with the Level 45 update.
How is this used? Each building available for purchase with game $ has a base price. For example, a Level 37 building like the Bachelor Arms has a base price of $84,500 and it used to cost 1.3 times that, or $109,850. But now the multiplier is just 1 times, so it costs $84,500. Usually when a new level is released, the multipliers adjust so that older buildings become cheaper, and the new level’s buildings are at 4 times the base price. So if you wait for newer levels to come out, the buildings will get cheaper.
10 million people purchased the iPhone this weekend so now that you have those big shiny screens lets see what you have done with the Ziff Corp building, sign and tennis court. Android users feel free to join in on the fun (but no iOS vs Android debates!)
By now you all know that The Simpsons will be involved in the Family Guy season premiere however fox has recently announced that there will be two crossover episodes making their way to springfield this season so take a look at what they have in store for us and let us know in the comments what you think!
This Kwik-Tap Guide is for the regular content part of Level 45. This is a stripped-down version of our normal walkthroughs with just the requirements, who to leave free to start the next part of the quest, the tasks they perform, and the rewards. (The page with the other Kwik-Tap Guides and full walkthroughs can be found here.
Level 45 added four buildings: The Hungry Hun, Indoor Tennis Courts, ZiffCorp Office Building, and the Fortress of Choclitude. Two decorations were added to Springfield, a BBQ Pig and the ZiffCorp Sign. Here is how the Conform-o-meter ratings are affected by the new items:
Along with the new characters, buildings, and decorations which arrived with the level 45 update, there were a few additional changes worked into the game:
Madame Chao’s is back to normal size.
Rex Banner has been moved from Regular Characters to Premium Characters. His default earnings are premium now.
O’Flanagan’s Pub, Singing Sirloin, Madame Chao’s, the Up Up and Buffet!, and the Sham Rock Cafe are now part of the Eatery building group. This is used when multiple characters are assigned to eat at a restaurant but which one they choose doesn’t matter.
