What Changed with the Season Premiere episode tie-in Update?

With today’s in-game update for the Season Premiere episode tie-in there was one change:

  • Base level building multipliers changed again, to get rid of the extra level which was added with the Level 45 update.
Level Old Multiplier New Multiplier
37 1.3 1
38 1.3 1.3
39 1.4 1.3
40 1.6 1.4
41 2.0 1.6
42 3.0 2.0
43 3.0 3.0
44 4.0 4.0
45 4.0 4.0

How is this used? Each building available for purchase with game $ has a base price. For example, a Level 37 building like the Bachelor Arms has a base price of $84,500 and it used to cost 1.3 times that, or $109,850. But now the multiplier is just 1 times, so it costs $84,500. Usually when a new level is released, the multipliers adjust so that older buildings become cheaper, and the new level’s buildings are at 4 times the base price. So if you wait for newer levels to come out, the buildings will get cheaper.

  1. Is anyone else having issues getting into the game? It keeps on going straight to the can’t connect to server error screen… It’s been doing this for a number of hours now.

  2. So when level 46 comes out and the building is like a million +, I can wait for level 47 and the level 46 building will be cheaper?
If so, I did not know this, and probably worth it too.

    1. Looks like you’d have to wait for two levels. For example, now the level 45 building ZiffCorp Office Building has a base price of $254,000, with a 4 times multiplier making it $1,016,000. When Level 46 arrives, the Level 45 buildings will still be 4 times, but the Level 44 buildings will drop to 3 times. When we get Level 47, then the Level 45 buildings will be 3 times, so ZiffCorp will cost $762,000.
