A messy update has brought us to the end of the Monorail Event. And a new update was issued on 16th (Android and Kindle) and 23rd (iOs) in the app store too. As most of you know by now, every update not only brings new content but also changes to many other aspects of the game. From prices to appearance, task lengths to requirements, any part of the game is subject to change and many changes affect every player. A first update was released on September 15th, as both app store and ingame, corrupting some users’ towns.
Cletus’ Bad job and Good job sound are inverted and fixed.
IRS’s cost per level up was changed.
IRS’s Conform-O-Meter rating was changed from Obedience to Indolence.
IRS had its grid type added: beach, grass, pavement, boardwalk, boardwalk edge.
IRS’s sound was added.
IRS’s max level was changed from 15 to 9.
Project Board was added to the Miscellany and Decorations inventory category and is now storable.
IRS Drone was added to the Animals and Pets character collection.
A level 1 IRS task book icon was added.
Rail Yard was added to the shop, in the Buildings section, for sale till September 22nd at 9am BST, with a cost depending on how much progress you had in obtaining it.
All jobs at the depots were changed from bad to good.
Bart’s Command Robot Ants was changed to premium payout.
A new icon was set up to hide/show income icons over buildings.
The ambience music, app icon, splash screen and daily play combo were changed back.
All depots’ screens were changed to the Rail Yard’s.
A second part to Job Manager’s quest, Between Jobs, was added.
Origin was rebranded as being part of EA Network.
The town landing point was moved back to the town center.
If the user has unlocked Springfield Heights it’ll be town center if the game is force closed, or Springfield Heights Tunnel if coming back from Krustyland or friend towns screen.
Monorail’s Stations now generate 150$ and 13 XP every 8 hours with the following task names:
- Monorail Station: Getting People Nowhere Fast
- Krusty’s Drive-Thru Station: Serving REALLY Fast Food
- Mall Station: Closing Just Before Your Train Arrives
- Tetanus Station: Keeping Health Insurers in Business.
Little Lisa’s Recycling Plant now generate 90$ and 10 XP every 4 hours.
Tennis Court’s $ and XP bonus was removed from the info button, changing to the info about giving out 150k Real Eastate Value Points, but is still present in the game itself.
Springfield Dump’s icon in the character locator doesn’t show up once jobs are available.
A glitch caused by IRS being active but not available causes the game to randomly autocollect from buildings but not giving any payout.
Rail Yard and Springfield Heights Prize Tracks are getting stuck and the progress bar goes over the limits of the screen. To fix it and get the prizes, just go to Krustyland or Friend Towns screen and back.
Mystery Boxes prizes were reset to reward again the first two prizes from the upgraded Mystery Boxes: 10 donuts and a Itchy & Scratchy Billboard.

If the user has unlocked Springfield Heights the town landing point was changed to always be Springfield Heights Tunnel.
Fixed Rail Yard prize screen glitch not awarding prizes till the user visits Krustyland or Friend Towns screen and goes back to town.
