Glitches are happening in this update, one is a good glitch, the others… not so much. Find out right after the jump how they can affect your town.
Update: All glitches were fixed in the January 28th update, including the good one.
The first glitch is linked with completing Pt. 3 of the main questline: unlocking the Shuttle Hangar.
Unfortunatly some users find out that the hangar was never awarded to them. This glitch is bad as you can’t complete the event without it and you can’t progress. The only ones that can fix this are EA’s customer service. Contact them direclty by clicking here.
The second glitch is linked with completing the main part of the questline and getting the final prize: the Rocket Launch Pad “upgrade”, that consists of the actual rocket.
Sometimes the prize is not awarded and the rocket is missing so Homer can’t launch it. Be sure that Quimby is always free for this. If freeing Quimby or storing the Rocket Launch Pad (and trying the other buildings from this event too) doesn’t trigger anything, you have to contact EA directly by clicking here.
The final glitch is a great glitch. Due to a flaw in programming, if you store the rocket that failed to launch, its timer will reset and you’ll be able to launch it immediatly. Repeat anytime you want. No need to wait for 12 hours anymore!
If you store the rocket, you can also buy another empty stand in the store too for free!
If we have any info on this issues, we’ll update this post or make a new one, in case of update, as soon as we get them. Join us next time for any news on this event, happy tapping!
