What Changed With the Crook and Ladder Update? (March 31st)

Crook and Ladder, the Springfield Fire Department event, has just started. As most of you know by now, every update not only brings new content but also changes to many other aspects of the game. From prices to appearance, task lengths to requirements, any part of the game is subject to change and many changes affect every player. Follow us right after the jump for the list of all of the changes.

The unreleased Springfield Fire Department and its content has been released.


Fixed a small glitch in animation of Hugs Bunny’s Battle Homer and The Grumple’s Fight Homer jobs.


Lisa’s Research What Kids Are Into is now located at Springfield Elementary or Simpson House.


Fixed a bug that made Tailgate’s characters roaming Springfield, detached from the decoration.


Mona was added to the Regular Characters, Regular Females, Parents and Adults character groups.


Becky was added to the Adults, Premium Characters and Premium Females character groups.


Apu, Jay and the Octuplets’ skin tone was darkened.


In the info screen, Privacy & Cookie Policy was changed to Privacy and Cookie Policy.

  1. This morning I noticed my building and decoration animations were happening on their own. Is that new or have I just never noticed this before? There are no characters doing jobs in them, but they are moving. And items like the Marge statue (with the tether ball) are moving on their own


    1. Sometimes it happens at random even never animated buildings go off on their own yes


  2. Apu’s character skin color changed but not his icon skin color. Hah! Maybe they’ll do that next year.


  3. The skin color of Sanjay is the same, they changed the skin color of Jay though
