What Changed With the A Rigellian Christmas Promo Release and Patch 1 Updates? (November 29th)

A new update was released by EA today, plus a first patch for it, in preparation for the Winter event, and as most of you know by now, every update not only brings new content but also changes to many other aspects of the game. From prices to appearance, task lengths to requirements, any part of the game is subject to change and many changes affect every player. Follow us right after the jump for the list of all of the changes.

A first update introduced the new update to the game.

In Poles Apart, Bart’s dialogue “But you said to come ride the Cold Train!” was changed to “But you said to come ride the Arctic Hypertrain!”.

The stuck quest complete sound for Gold Mystery Box was fixed.

Springfield Elementary now requires Level 9 instead of Level 5 again.

President Lisa’s Avoid Molecules, Disrupt the Timeline and Look Up Who’s Running for President this Year jobs can now be done at Brown House instead of just the PolyVac.

If bought before but not fully upgraded, if the user stores the Gingerbread Mansion, it’ll now fully upgrade!

A second update was released later fixing a store bug.

Already bought building skins (that were available to be bought again, but awarded nothing) were removed from the store. However, if the buildings are in inventory they still appear.

Join us later for more info on this update, happy tapping!

  1. I just hope that people don’t throw their teddies out of the pram over the Xmas event like they did last year.

  2. I just discovered on my “B” game which didn’t have a fully upgraded Gingerbread Mansion that storing & replacing has triggered a new dialogue & quest for Ned Flanders called: “Ginger-Fication”.
So even if you have got a fully upgraded Gingerbread Mansion, you still need to store & replace it to start this quest.

  3. Hopefully the Rigellian Christmas Spaceship will bring a 24h job for Kodos with it, since EA seem to stubbornly refuse to bring back the crashed spaceship every Halloween, despite recycling pretty much every other event’s unloved & unwanted extraneous crap.
    Here’s hoping. 🙂

    • Agreed! I’ve been waiting 3 years to buy that crashed UFO. I’ve asked and pleaded EA on the forums. I’ll pay donuts so I do not understand the reason behind that one either. Same with the Christmas Volcano, 3 years and counting. And EA never has offered Respectable Moe since his release. Yet as you say all the crap under the sun is offered.
