Should I spend my donuts on Arnie Pye?

Hello everyone and the last couple of hours have been very quiet so I’d thought I’d break the silence. With the Level 33 Update there is a new premium character “Arnie Pye”. I have started to like Arnie and I think that he has some great tasks, So should you spend your donuts on Arnie Pye? Now I have already bought Arnie Pye and I wouldn’t go back on my decision. I will be looking at both sides and after this post you may think again about buying Arnie Pye. Lets start off by telling you a bit of History about Arnie Pye:

arnie_pyeArnold “Arnie” Pye is a disgruntled and somewhat eccentric helicopter traffic reporter for Springfield’s KBBL-TV (Channel 6). His segments are titled Arnie Pye With Arnie in the Sky. His voice was heard first in the Simpsons in “Some Enchanted Evening” He was first seen in “Homer Alone”. I wouldn’t class him as a regular on the show but he has appeared in several episodes.

Now that’s out of the way, let’s get into a few reasons why you SHOULD buy Arnie Pye:

1. He has five tasks and four of them are visible .

2. Arnie is a voiced character which these days is a huge plus and a personal preference of mine. I’d much rather buy a voiced character than be given one that is not.

3. He earns 50% more cash and XP for all of his tasks.

4. His helicopter can be seen flying across your screen. (And if you have Santa Homer Costume ride his sleigh, it’s quite a good match)

5. He unlocks a two day task at Channel 6 “Broadcasting Arnie Pye” and earns 7500 cash and 2100 XP

Next we have the reasons why you should NOT buy Arnie Pye:

1. He comes with no building and with 85 donuts is the second highest Premium character with no building.

2. He has no tasks at Krustyland and with him arriving after Krustyland you would expect they would update Krustyland Tasks for New Characters.

3. He can’t be unlocked until Level 23 after Building Channel 6

4. You have NO chance of winning him in a Homer Buddha or Mystery Box, so you will have to have the full 85 donuts to buy him.

Now Arnie Pye is not a bad buy, but if you are limited on donuts I would suggest you save up and see what Level 34 will have. Also Season 25 starts in September so there might be something Limited time available then. So Arnie Pye would be a great character in your town but maybe you want to wait and see what else could come around. I hope this helps you with your decision to buy Arnie Pye. If you want to have a look at his Quest Line click here. Apart from that Keep Tapping and answer the poll  🙂
