What Changed with the Season Premiere episode tie-in Update?

With today’s in-game update for the Season Premiere episode tie-in there was one change:

  • Base level building multipliers changed again, to get rid of the extra level which was added with the Level 45 update.
Level Old Multiplier New Multiplier
37 1.3 1
38 1.3 1.3
39 1.4 1.3
40 1.6 1.4
41 2.0 1.6
42 3.0 2.0
43 3.0 3.0
44 4.0 4.0
45 4.0 4.0

How is this used? Each building available for purchase with game $ has a base price. For example, a Level 37 building like the Bachelor Arms has a base price of $84,500 and it used to cost 1.3 times that, or $109,850. But now the multiplier is just 1 times, so it costs $84,500. Usually when a new level is released, the multipliers adjust so that older buildings become cheaper, and the new level’s buildings are at 4 times the base price. So if you wait for newer levels to come out, the buildings will get cheaper.

How do the level 40 buildings and items affect the Conform-o-meter?

Level 40 added two buildings: the Ah Fudge Factory and Lotto ‘N’ Liquor. Two decorations were added to Springfield, the Concrete Wall and Santa’ Little Helper Topiary. Here is how the Conform-o-meter ratings are affected by the new items:

Building or Item Rating Points
Ah Fudge Factory
Gluttony 10
Lotto ‘N’ Liquor
Consumerism 10
Concrete Wall
Vanity 100
Santa’s Little Helper Topiary
Vanity 100

One decoration was added to Krustyland, the Crashed Police Car. Each one adds 10 Kitsch points to the Krust-o-meter.

Level 40 Overview (Contains Spoilers)

Right in the midst of Tapped Out’s first ever Easter event an in-game update has arrived bringing us Level 40. We haven’t seen a Level update during an event since Dolph and Jimbo came during the Halloween 2013 event. (I think). Anyhow as always with updates we like to give a good thorough Overview of what the update entails.

Most important to start of noting that Principal Skinner starts off the Level 40 quest. It is very important that all of you check your Confirm Donut Spend option as it tends to be reset with updates. I will not give out any info before the jump for those of you, if there are any left, that don’t like to be spoiled. Ah, I remember those days……

Let’s go check out Level 40!!

Easter 2014 Preparation

Hello Tappers!

Instead of making you go off the Whacking Day 2014 preparation guide, I decided to make a one for the upcoming Easter event. Requested by Tom, one of our readers, I decided that we need to prepare for the Easter event and make it separate from the Whacking Day post just in case we have a Whacking Day event as well as the Easter event.

Ok, so next week could be the possible update of Easter 2014 and with every update tappers need to be prepared! Just before the Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day event, I did a post about preparing for the events and it turned out to be a big success. For every player that might not have reached the top-level, you will need to prepare for this upcoming event. An event is always big and you most likely will need a lot of Money, Land, Friends and Donuts. So here is a guide to help you to prepare for Easter 2014.

Because there was no Easter event last year there is no information on what the Easter event could bring. The update could come anytime next week from around Tuesday to Friday with a speculation date of Wednesday. However other speculation says that it will arrive with the removal of the episode tie-in for ‘Days of Future Future’ on Tuesday.

Now, here is the preparation guide for Easter 2014:
