Fortress of Choclitude – Level 45 Freemium Guide

The newest arrival to the Aspirational buildings came in the form of the Fortress of Cholcitude. For those of you wondering, Aspirational Buildings in Tapped Out are a few buildings that are usually very high-priced, very large in size, do not come with characters, do not generate income and very rarely come with any quest lines that involve the people of Springfield. They are generally very obscure buildings that are only seen for mere seconds in episodes of the Simpsons. The Fortress of Choclitude is no exception. With a price tag of $10 million dollars, it is buildings like these that really take serious thought and consideration in regards to whether they are worth shelling out all of that in-game cash.

Have no fear! This is where I come in and do my best to give you the most accurate, reliable and relative information for items such as this in the hopes that it will help you make an informed decision as to whether to pass on or pay for the item. Although this item does not cost donuts, it may as well for the amount it costs and with that I bring you the Freemium Guide for The Fortress of Choclitude.

Halloween 2014 Preparation

Hello Tappers!

We will soon be saying goodbye to the Clash of Clones event however as one event goes another must arrive. And in this case it is the Halloween event of 2014! Next week we will be seeing the arrival of our third Halloween event and I’m back with another preparation post to help you prepare for another event! Just before the Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, Easter and Clash of Clones event I did a post about preparing for the events and it turned out to be a big success. I’m back with the post but this time helping you prepare for Halloween 2014! And this will mark one year of myself helping you prepare for an upcoming event.

For every player that might not have reached the top-level, you will need to prepare for this upcoming event. An event is always big and you most likely will need a lot of Money, Land, Friends and of course Donuts! So here is a guide to help you to prepare for the upcoming Halloween event of 2014.

There will be upcoming posts talking about previous Halloween events along with some speculation about the upcoming Halloween event and what to expect from October 2014. It has been confirmed that the Halloween event will arrive on Tuesday after the removal of the Clash of Clones event. However we don’t have any further details of what the event will contain apart from a date.

Now, Here is the preparation guide for Halloween 2014:

What Changed with the Season Premiere episode tie-in Update?

With today’s in-game update for the Season Premiere episode tie-in there was one change:

  • Base level building multipliers changed again, to get rid of the extra level which was added with the Level 45 update.
Level Old Multiplier New Multiplier
37 1.3 1
38 1.3 1.3
39 1.4 1.3
40 1.6 1.4
41 2.0 1.6
42 3.0 2.0
43 3.0 3.0
44 4.0 4.0
45 4.0 4.0

How is this used? Each building available for purchase with game $ has a base price. For example, a Level 37 building like the Bachelor Arms has a base price of $84,500 and it used to cost 1.3 times that, or $109,850. But now the multiplier is just 1 times, so it costs $84,500. Usually when a new level is released, the multipliers adjust so that older buildings become cheaper, and the new level’s buildings are at 4 times the base price. So if you wait for newer levels to come out, the buildings will get cheaper.
